The toilet training is coming along well... They know to go to the door, but with eight pups, I would feel like a doorman, so I just leave it open enough for them to get in and out. This training is much easier in the summer - with the doggy door... Good thing I like a cool home!

It was snowing out, so tehy come in a little damp looking... ha ha Poor Kallie looked cold, so I found a towel and towelled them all down~

Anna and Marie Visit

Anna and Marie were pretty taken by the pups... Yes, they really are that amusing to watch in person - there is always at least one of them doing something cute~

Conditioning to Sounds...

I have this really handy CD (two actually) of sounds that I like to play in the background and let the puppies get used to. There are sounds such as a siren going by, airport noises, coffee grinder, thunder, dog barking, children playing, horse sounds etc. It is never possible to condition the dogs to "everything", since I never know if they will live in an apartment (city sounds, trucks, buses etc) or on a farm... (animals) so this really helps me...

The pups do their own share of making noises too - lots of noisy baby toys, cat toys (motion sensitive) and even play the piano! lol

Some days these guys could sleep through anything!

Tammy and Rob bought their dog, Colby from me a while back now... but they, like most people, really enjoy puppies too... and I have plenty enough to share! They brought dinner - bonus! and we all enjoyed playing and cuddling with the puppies~
