Glad to have me back...

Ha ha... I have to tell you... the girls seemed really happy to have me home! Amber and Bella were "fighting" over who could help me unpack... there was a real tug-a-war going on with my swimsuit for a while! Must have smelled like the ocean!

Amber won! Actually - Bella let go cuz she knew I was not really happy that they were "playing" with my clothing - something they are NOT allowed to do!

Then Bella and Brandy wanted out... Must be nice for them to have me home again, so I can let them out 50 times a day again...lol!

Then, of course, Amber wanted out to wrestle with Bella again...

Brandy wisely moved out of the way and just patiently watches their antics...

The M&M kids...

The Winnipeg crew took the easy way out... and photographed the pups while they were sleeping! ha ha... NOW you know how tough it is, eh? They move fast! lol

I figured we would get a "tugging" shot with this...

But nope - all they want to do is sleep... in front of the fireplace no less - spoiled, or what?!

And only Micah (my Brute) could be comfy sleeping like this! Madison just snuggles in... This bed looks big enough for me!

They have their own individual beds as well...

Ah...

So sweet... Thank you all for sharing!! Sure miss the little tykes!

Laila...

My little sweetie!

Laila and her new Mommy

Loves her new bed!

Awww... I miss you too sweetie!

Her cute new outfit.

Peek!

Bailey

Ah! Bailey... How quickly you wormed your way into their hearts! Must have been those big brown eyes!!

Oh yeah... I like this Valentines puppy alright...

Do I have to stay still Mom?? ha ha... my "going" concern...

Just a quick training tip...

It is handy to have a short "leash" you can leave on the pup, to help control their actions...
These are actually a type of collar called a choker (I do not use them as chokers as I do not believe it is necessary to "choke" a dog to make them listen!) and the center one is a doubler (to walk two dogs at once). By attaching the clip to the pup's collar, you have something for you to hold onto and direct the pup, without having to have hands on, but without a six foot cord dragging behind... Hope this helps.

Farewell to my last baby for this litter...

Well, Andy and Ruma are thrilled with Laila and the girls and I were really sad to see her go... but, if I want to have more litters, I have to let the babes go. *choke* sob* Look at the smiles on the faces of the people getting them though - that is the part that makes it all worthwhile... Sharing this puppy love with others.

Ruma made this lovely card for me, as a thank you for taking care of their little lady until she was safely delivered to them... Now how sweet was that?!!

Ah, my little imp!

Oh, she was full of beans that last morning...

She kept grabbing my slipper and dragging it away from me (that's what I get for taking them off, I guess!) Good game Laila! ha ha...

Ah! Puppy Love...

There is nothing like the feel of a cuddly little puppy kissing your face!

These little minxes love me as much as I love them!

Did Andy and Ruma ever spoil me! I got a basket of goodies... chocolate cookies, bath products, scented candle and soaps and a bottle of wine! Think I will have to have a long soak and enjoy all these!! Sounds like fun!!

Best of all - they made me this lovely t-shirt to remember the puppies!

Can't thank them enough... I will wear this shirt with great pleasure and terrific memories! They in turn will love and care for my little girl - Laila.

The Angel in Disguise...

When Andy and Ruma arrived that morning, Laila was a sleepy little girl!

They never got to watch her antics with my grooming glasses...

She kept bringing them to me... I kept putting them back and telling her no...

Hmmm - so maybe she was not really bringing them to ME... he he

Last Sleep with Mommy...

He he... Look who snuck into my bed... I didn't have anything to do with it... *wink*

Bella was in one of her favorite spots, on the pillow beside mine.

Little Laila wanted to snuggle right up to me and I have to admit - it sure was precious!

In the morning Bella was busy cleaning her baby's face....

Oh, what a great Momma she has been. We'll miss her little sweethearts!

Laila's turn to go...

Andy and Ruma drove up from Richmond Hill on Saturday, to meet Laila and I and the rest of my "crew"

I think it was love at first sight, for this happy young couple - don't you?

We went over a bunch of basic care issues and then did a short grooming session - trimmed around the eyes, foot pads, and butt and then trimmed her nails. Always much easier to learn when someone shows you vs reading books.
