After the rain...

I was so thankful the pups were tired and did not decide to play in it!

Then we all came indoors again for a little nap

Well, thank goodness Cassie did not get as dirty!

Cassie and Mysti sure were frisky after their baths!

Now it is time to clean the entry and the sink... sigh! This scene may repeat several more times today....

Yes... it has been so dry around here I was really hoping for rain... but looks what happens then!

Hmmm... wet would not be so bad... but muddy... Do I HAVE to let them in?? Yuck!

Finally we got some rain!

Yeah... now maybe I could roll that hose up, eh? ha ha... lazy!

The dogs were really enjoying playing outdoors, since it had cooled down a bit...

Didn't even rain hard enough to make the ground wet under the trees... so I guess the hose will have to stay out for now.

This is why they do it - nice cool place to rest in the heat... but sure makes for lots of baths!

Oh, oh! Is that Simba digging now, too?? lol... Don't worry - they DO forget this and it is easily correctable, if they do dig and you don't want them to - ask me how (notice I moved the digging from my gardens to the rock area - where I prefer it)
