Late night feeding on Friday night, Amber was a bit worn out, so I brought her food to her and look what happened... The babes dove right in!

Good thing I feed Amber the same food at this point - she needs the extra nourishment from the puppy food...

Do you think they are going to leave any for Amber?? She is so patient...

Friday the 27th of Jan

We had such a wicked ice storm... this shot is of the icles that formed , dripping through my pergola.

Put a thick layer of ice on everything.

But inside, we were all toasty cozy!

Amber was watching carefully as her baby ate the soggy puppy food.

and more sleep time... Growing babies tire fast! Lots of naps for them...

Trimming Toes...

I took the pups into the front room with me a few at a time, to trim their hairy little feet...

When they are this sleepy, it goes really fast - they are like little limp rag dolls~ aware of what is happening, but too sleepy to wiggle and squirm.

As you can see - the pigment is starting to come into their feet pads now too...

I am so taken with the coloring on this little babe... He is just gorgeous. Hope I get to see a picture of him in full coat someday!

Ha ha ha... kinda sleepy... Bet you have never seen the roof of a puppy's mouth either...
