Talking about Containment...

It was getting to be too much for me to keep an eye on the pups while they were running around the house so I went in to town and picked up another of my life saving exercise pens... They sure make my life easier! When I travel with the dogs, I take these and set up a quick pen for them to run around in safely. If I am busy and can't keep an eye on the dogs this is another life saver use... Or, to keep them away from something in the gardens... LOTS of uses! I have never regretted purchasing these pens!

This is the latest setup - I just went to the dollar store and bought a pkg of zip ties and zipped them onto the kennel and to each other... great way to keep the pups safely contained, yet give them plenty of space to run and play~
For those of you with other pets at home, this is a great way for the older pets to become accustomed to having a puppy in the house, before they are allowed to actually play together~

The pups were all crashed out on the piles of linen to be washed (daily routine)

It was easy to just drag them into the new pen - so sleepy after playing outdoors...

Such cute little tired tykes! Love them!

The Rink Time...

This rink is situated in a town about 30 minutes from my home - good distance for their first drive. A friend of mine, Anna lives there and she came over to join the fun - note that Amber heard her coming... "Grandma" Brandy is guarding pups.

Everyone was happy to see her - me especially - I really DO need eyes in the back of my head!

The pups were sure enjoying the run!

Such a great spot for them - I'll be sure to take them back there~

As you know - Bella is not fond of pups, so I let her climb the snow banks around the rink while we played - she was in her own kind of heaven.

Teddy and Nina

Anna and Nina! Thanks my friend, for the idea and the help~

The Fun Continued...

Hope everyone can figure out which puppy is which now~ Didn't figure they needed any comment really - just the pups and dogs running around, having a great day!

Oh! What fun we had running around~

Going for a Drive!

Yup! We went for our first car ride on the 28th of Feb 2012...We all did great~

Mom said we were all really good puppies and just for a treat, she took us somewhere really special to play! Yippee!!

It was a funny looking place, but it had clean white snow all over and we had it all to ourselves!!

Mom put our crates down inside this place and opened up the crate doors for us.

Then - we got to get out and stretch our little legs and run all around! What fun!

More from the 27th

Ziggy goes adventuring... lol

When it is time to head indoors, they are so disappointed - especially if they are the first "imprisoned" lol Sushi (green) Ziggy (orange)

Ziggy wanted to keep playing with Teddy...

When we came indoors, Amber was ready for a nap on the couch, but no way were the pups about to give her rest!

So - out come the chewie bones for them all again and life settled down for a while...

Adventuring in the Yard...

Each time they go outside, they get a little braver and venture a little further~

The snow is as high as them, when they venture off the beaten track...

The open stairs are still a bit scary, and most of them are going up okay now, though coming back down seems rather scary. Gets easier for them as they grow and their legs get a bit longer~

Amber still carefully watches ebverything they do and never ventures far from them...

A tender moment between Dharma and Amber~
