Heading back now...
Oh yeah... and didn't Bella find another puddle to drink out of - one with lovely green slime on top of the rusty water this time... Note that Amber was in there this time too... groan~
So - I called them and both Amber and Daisy came like a shot...
Brandy said "In a minute Mom... I haven't had my drink yet!" and proceeded to plod her way in and have a drink first. Bella finally decided to join us...
Just waiting for Brandy to catch up, then we went and found the nice clean water... and headed home for a hose down!
When the wind blows like this, the sand gets right into their hair (and up noses too, I can assure you of that! yuck!)
YUCK!! Don't teach Daisy your bad habits Bella!! Thankfully SHE comes when she is called...
Walking the ridges... Think I am getting enough exercise here!
Oh no... aside from dirty feet and hair, now she has enough vines stuck in her to start her own garden! Time for a trim my Bell!
Poor little Daisy did not like the sand blowing in her eyes either, so we decided to just head back home... We all had our share of exercise anyway...
Another hot, sandy day~
This photo is the full area where they ran this day...
I usually crop the photos closer - like this. If you click on the photos, you will get to see them in large format~ Anyway - It was really hot this day - high humidity too, so we went to this place, cuz there were more trees. Didn't do much good, since it was really windy too...
At least the trees blocked a bit of wind and provided a bit of shade...
Still lots of open sandy areas though...
Uh, oh!! Yucky, dirty water still seems appealing to hot thirsty dogs... and you know where the clean water is - back at the car!

Heading home...
The big brave girl wanted "UP" like the others... (She rides in the crate) but for a minute, just to get these pictures I let her...
This is NOT a picture I ever thought I would get!
She was one sleepy little girl!!
More from the sand pits...
That little girl knows no fear! She gives Bella a wide berth in the house, but chases her when they are outdoors...
Yeah... they really got this close! lol Seriously though - once they stop getting "in her face" Bella does not mind them - still does not "love " her, like the other two... but at least she is tolerating.
Finally they were worn out, so we headed back to the car...
Bella got there first and she was so tired she actually sat to drink out of the bowl - I always prep a bowl of water before we head out and the girls know that...
Daisy was last to get access to the bowl - the girls are really enforcing the pack structure!
