Chris came to visit...

My son got a haircut and now the puppy looks scruffy - not him! lol

Seriously though - Nina does need a little trim - if only I could find a quiet moment when I had nothing to do. Hard work to take care of three dogs and four puppies...

Nighttime in the puppy pen...

When the pups are starting to settle down for the evening, Amber always goes in to give them a last feeding. Most of the, settle right down for a good sleep after that, but a few of them have learned MY nightly routine and wait for their cuddles... lol

Nina and Tobi are the two who are always waiting... they get taken out to the front room for a bit of a cuddle, if there is no grooming to be done that night... Chris "stole" Nina right away and decided she was HIS favorite (that night anyway)

Amber came up on the couch with him and was busy cleaning Nina's face, while Nina played with hers... sweet~

Ha ha... poor Chris was trying to watch the sports - kind of hard when Amber decides she want her special treat - a cheek biting session! Yeah - I know, it's weird, but she loves for me to "gnaw" at her cheek (hair really) and will even change cheeks when I tell her too - too funny!

Little Nina fell fast asleep in Chris's arms - pure heaven for her, I'm sure (him too!)

Gotta say - the snow sure does make the winter yard look prettier!

My dear son Christopher, came to give me a hand feeding all the pups this weekend.

They are quite capable of getting the food themselves, but they sure love to get it from our fingers... and it is a good way to "know" which ones are actually eating it (and not just licking it)

Bella was a bit put out... Hey! I 'm here and I want some cuddles you! lol

As you can see, they get around pretty good now...

Grandma was pooped from the long day of travel, but real happy to get her hands on a puppy!

Of course, Angela loves them too - almost as much as I do...

Chris is in his glory here... so nice to see Grandma again, after all these years... Hey! I think this one is cutting teeth! ha ha (Yup - all of Amber's are now...)

My son, Christopher has been staying with me this winter, to help out with all the dogs and the pups. They all love him - He works all day, but cuddles them at night...

Think Bailey likes his tummy rubbed?? Ha ha - what a suck! But such a sweet one!

Laila wanted in on the cuddles too!

They can be really tough to hang on to - squirm and wiggle fast!

Oh, and watch your earlobes! ha ah... They all like to kiss - like their mommies all did to them!
