Gemma's turn to depart...

Gemma got her first bath and was bundled up getting some loving while she dried...

Tina and Tracy bought a puppy from Brandy's last litter - one of the "twins" whom I called Cory and they call Leo - he is Cassy's "twin" (I had such a hard time telling them apart). Would have been nice to have seen him, but they have promised to send pictures, so I can post them for those who have followed my blog for a while now. Brandy kept trying to get up there with Gemma - she is going to really miss her - they played together so well...

I just know this little sweetheart will be treasured in her new home!

I gave the girls their snuggle mummy back... remember this? From the early pictures in the whelping box?? They sure did!! Snuggled right up!

I would say they were all quite happy to have it back - wouldn't you??

Time for Suzhi to leave...

On Friday the 6th of April, Teri came, with her friend Norm, to pick up her new girl...

The dogs were a little afraid of Norm's hat for a while - will have to remember to do some more "socializing" with my girls! It has been a long time since they had seen anyone with a ball cap on...

Now doesn't Suzhi look so much better all bathed up and trimmed, ready to go home? Her new name will be Jasmine... pretty, like her!

I just put this picture in so you can see what the atmosphere is like after a puppy departs... Don't think it is just Amber and I who miss them! ;-(

5 April 12

While we were busy cuddling dogs, this was going on, at the other couch...

Brandy was up on the sofa eating a cookie and Suzhi decided she wanted it...

Then Ziggy came over to "help" too...

Next thing I knew, Nina was over "helping" too...

Ha ha... and you just knew what came next, didn't you? That big tease Brandy turned to face them and actually sat her bottom on the armrest to finish the cookie since she was comfortable that they could not get up and get her... Just you wait Brandy - won't be long now!!

Wednesday April 4th

The girls sure get a lot of enjoyment out of playing with this cat tunnel! Nina was just digging away at it!

It makes a fun toy, plus a great little sleeping space! lol Notice Gemma sneaking in there??

Ziggy spends a lot of time watching my every move... smart as a whip that one!

Then we went outdoors to play ball for a while.

Even the rain does not dampen their enthusiasm for this game!

Oh, but how we love the return of the sunshine!

The last from the 3rd of March

Nina was playing with something, but I could not tell what...

Till I got closer - ha ha... looked like vampire teeth, but it really is some of Brandy's hair, from the garden! Silly girl!

It was a nice relaxing afternoon - we all needed.

Getting Dirty - doing nothing!

This time of year is dusty and dirty, till I get the yard and gardens cleaned up. I never worry about the gardens while there are pups around. They will wait - and grow back, if they get trampled upon. The pups need the exercise and attention. Seems like they just sit around collecting leaves and stones in their fur though! lol

The wind has been pretty strong lately and that is really making the pup's eyes water...

Of course, the dirt and dust and leaves are all tracking into the house... but, it too cleans so they never get a hard time about it...

But, see what I mean - they are all just sitting around (for a few minutes anyway ;-)

Hmmm... well, maybe not all of them... lol! Someone is in the gardens again...

Ha ha... yeah - and digging! lol

If you enlarge this, you will see what I mean about the fur always getting dirty. At the end of the day, I wash their faces with a baby wipe, then down their body and legs, then their butt ends... Makes them smell pretty and gets the worst of the dust and dirt off and sure saves on baths!

On to the 3rd of April...

The pups sure are starting to get big now... but tehy still love to cuddle up together~

They are just so do-gone cute when they are asleep... ha ha!

Doesn't last long any more... soon they are raing to go again!

Gotta get busy and do some trimming on a few of them! Ziggy needs her eyes done.

Speaking of eyes... Doesn't Gemma have the sweetest ?? I think it is those eyebrows that slay me!

Ah! little Suzhi... such a cutie - I just love her gold coloring!

Hmmm... Nina too - guess they all need their eyes done... and nails and pad hair, plus the hair in the "dropzone". One day real soon!

Oh Lord... Gemma is like the female version of Teddy - so soft and sweet... Sure wish I could have kept her... Here she is, giving her Mommy a "thank you" kiss after Amber finished licking and cleaning her eyes and tummy... sweet~ sigh... This is going to be much harder than I expected.

Pups just wanna have fun! Apr 2nd

Ziggy was busy playing with a ball, while Suzhi was watching bugs again... She seems to be mesmerized by them! lol

Brandy and Amber had a great play session - wait till you see all the videos! It was fun to watch! The pups tried hard to join in - Suzhi especially...

Then Amber had a great play with her puppies.

I noticed that the pups pick up on what the bigger dogs are doing and mimic them right after... cute!

They just never tire of the chair game...

Those dangly old leaves are decorating my home nightly! ha ha...

Merlin (Tobi) came to visit...

I'm not sure who enjoyed seeing him more... me, or the puppies?! He smelled "different" (being around two other dogs and different people), but they figured it out fast and were right back to being sisters - tugging, pulling and bugging.. (that IS what sisters are supposed to do, isn't it?) lol

I think Gemma is the one who has missed him the most...

Oh I have missed his spunky little prance!
