Lhasa Fun in the Snow

Bella is really enjoying the squirrels that come steal from my bird feeder...

I am sure she thinks she owns the world... and that squirrels are her own personal chase toys! lol

We had a late spring snow last week and she was up chasing a squirrel that ran on top of my pergola - then she stuck her nose into the snow on top of my herb garden - I put birdseed there now and again, as the chipmunk likes to come up too...

Little Miss Snowy face! ha ha...

Not to be outdone... Amber had to get up there too and see what was happening...

Winter Wonders...

Deep snow is hard work to plow through...

Even the wild turkeys were having a hard time - to reach their food

They do love to forge the path though... and it is so pretty in the woods!

The squirrels are giving them a real workout in the back yard as well~

As pretty as it can be, I will be happy to see the end of the snow this year...

River walk continued...

It felt like we had the world all to ourselves - such a cozy environment, with that fog and the warm air...

Strange and pretty scenery...

I have always enjoyed walks along the beach and it is so much more enjoyable with company.

Such interesting smells for the pup's noses!

A Day by the River

Happy New Year Everyone! Hope you all had a great day~

The doggies and I spent ours doing things we really love to do... We drove down to the St Lawrence River, near Long Sault, ON for a lovely walk in the fog!

Bella was not too sure what to make of the expanse of ice...

She and Amber were off and exploring in a flash though!

They did prefer solid land (too bad it was slushy and muddy) to the icy river, thankfully!

So - we reached a compromise...

More Winter Wonderland

It's that time of year... to show you Christmas trees... and is there any decoration more beautiful than God's snow??

Tough slogging for poor old Brandy though...

These two just leap through it... I just love it when they pause to admire the beauty as well...

Their snowy little faces are so sweet...

A Romp in the Woods

Ah! The great big outdoors... How my girls and I do love it!

So much to see and do out there...

They have so much fun exploring...

And run their little legs off!

Sure is pretty out there...
