Really getting around now~

Oh yes, the imps are full of it now... and why is it that like children, they often get days and nights "mixed up"? As I sit here so tired and groggy , praying for them to fall back asleep, so I can go back to bed, this is what they are up to!

Play is just so much more exciting in the early morning, I guess...(it's 1:30 am...)

Hey guys - aren't you getting tired yet??

Finally Mom steps in to bring them to warm milk... Hope that works!

Poor Gal - they all come running now...

Doesn't take long for them to all "dig" in...

It still amazes me how they all fit in there...

Amber not only accepts all this pushing and pulling, but really seems to enjoy it as well...

A peek in the pen...

They are growing and changing so very fast... Have them sleeping in the den still, but have set up a pen in my dining room for them to play in during the day now. Gives me a chance to clean out their pens too

They are a big tangle of arms and legs now...

Amber is much happier when some of the pups are sleeping at feeding time... lol

Can you tell how many dogs are in this pile... ? Hint - they are more than one layer deep! Makes me laugh~

Names!

Okay Folks - time to give these critters a name...
This is NOT the name they will be registered as, nor does it have to be the name they are called by their new owners. It is strictly for me to help with their training (beats puppy) and for you, to more easily identify them on my blog.
These pictures were taken on the 29th of Jan and I will repeat this kind of shot every week or so, as once their hair comes in, their look changes a lot - and fast! I can see a big difference already!

First born, black and white boy

Second born, brown and white particolor

Third born - golden girl

Fourth born - red girl

Fifth born - black girl

Sixth born - golden girl, with white "diamond" marking on her back

Seventh born - golden girl with white shawl

Eighth born - golden girl with Zig-Zag white marking on face

Hi Folks! Sorry - had a bit of an inner ear thing going on... not easy to care for yourself, when you feel dizzy and nauseous - worse still to care for a bunch of pups (bending over made the room roll!) Still not up to par. Have a Dr apt Tuesday - hope it helps. Till then, with the help of some dear friends and family, we will get by just fine. Just may get rather behind in posts - but they will all get here... ;-)

Just wanted to show you that the pups are all eating well - fat and happy!

They are pretty good at filling their own bellies now and they know to nap (wherever they are) when they are tired - a lesson I have been taking to heart these past few days~ You would NOT catch ME napping on a pee pad though~ ha ha

Ah! It's a good life... play is a big part of their day now...

It's fun to watch them play together...

Amber - ever diligent... has a hard time to watch them all, but she is never far away~

Just an update on videos - I have some lovely videos to post yet - but I have learned that I cannot upload at night, as the auto shutdown on my computer kicks in and I lose the upload. Unfortunately, it takes about 2 hrs to upload each video - crazy! But, I will eventually get them up there...

Pooped Puppy

Hmmm... I feel just like this little girl tonight... one pooped out puppy~ they have played hard all day, while I was busy working.

The pups are snuggled in, so I am heading to bed too...

Been a busy day - the usual laundry, cleaning, paperwork, puppy care, dog care, visitors and the results of another sleepless night last night - (suffering from a post nasal drip problem). Kitchen is cleaned out (garbage day tomorrow) and grocery list prepared for tomorrow's shopping trip - a few hours away from home... going to be a treat, but will make for another busy day when I return tomorrow...

So - I am heading to dream land, like this little fellow... Night Folks!
