Yes, she loves to stay with her babes... They use her like a soother and nurse even when they are not hungry, but she loves it...
She was starting to spend way too much time in there...
Did not even want to leave them to eat!

Oh yes - they do enjoy that...
I put her food further out and ignored her "noises" (Lhasa "commands" ha ha) and she eventually came back out and I shooed her outside for a while after. Whether she wants to or not, she is spending more time outdoors now...
Is this behaviour because she's a very diligent mother or is she just tired out because she's being "drained"?
ReplyDeleteShe absolutely adores being with her pups - can you blame her? Remember how comforting it felt, when they fell asleep in your arms??(pictures later today hopefully) She loves that too - but she does need a break from the pups sometimes and she needs her "Mommy cuddles" too (or maybe I need hers too? ha ha)This is all natural behaviour and is usually experienced by any new Mom - people included!
