Ouch!

After a while, they start to use another "sense" to explore them... Teeth!

If they smell good, they must taste better... ha ha

Lifting your feet up does not really help... they jump good!

Lhasas (more so than some other puppies) can be stubborn!

Anything you would like puppies to learn, must be repeated persistently and consistently for it to become a habit. Say No - then gently take them away from your feet and tell them to sit and then praise them lavishly when they do...
If they go back to your feet, repeat NO - and move them away, tell them to sit, and then when they do, praise again... Repeat often!
This short trainer was brought to you by my friend, Lesley (who has no pets and volunteered to be my training aid).
I hope to break this behaviour by the time you get the pups, but you will have to repeat it with all your own feet, at your own home, I'm sure... lol

  1. You're darn right Lhasas can be stubborn!!Funny how they go "deaf" when they don't want to do something! But they're so loveable you just can't get cross! They're smart little devils though..
