Guess who is now out with the pups?? Yup - you are right! It's Bella!! She still prefers to keep her distance, but she wants to be outside, so she is tolerating them and not growling any more... (Helps that they are no longer nursing!)
She was only tolerating them here, but within a few days, she was actually chasing them around the yard and playing with them!
Amazing! Even when there is food on the ground... Some dogs - elderly ones, or ones who prefer all the attention to themselves can be like this and you have to be patient and just wait for the older dog to accept the puppy into his/her world...
Ignoring the pup again. Gotta say... It sure beats growling at her though!
How could anyone growl at such a sweet little face??
