These wooden boxes were made by the husband of a friend, so that Amber could jump in and out of the whelping box. I put them on the back side of teh pen, so that the air would not blow up at the puppies, from my floor vent. Wouldn't you know it - they LOVE to sneak behind the fencing (along the door frame) to play on the boxes... and Gemma (like most Lhasas) likes the high ground... She has discovered she can see outside real good from here...
And, I suppose it makes a "comfy?" bed for her~ cuz she sure likes to sleep up there...
The others have all taken to sleeping on the towel I put in there... This towel is supposed to be for an "emergency" pee spot, not a sleep zone. Pee pads were being shredded by sharp little teeth at this point - fun play toy for them... so the towels were filling in~
Amber likes to get up high as well - she can keep a good eye on her babies from here and she was guarding them well at this point!
