Why they get de-wormed...

Okay - so one of the questions I got asked was "why do you de-worm the puppies?" The answer is quite simple really... Worm eggs are transferred through fecal matter. Mom gets de-wormed at the same time as the pups because she eats her puppies waste when they are young. The pups see her eating it and sometimes immitate her. Plus they are running around where there is fecal matter (wish I was more diligent in picking up, but they "go" after every meal and I do not always have the opportunity to get out and pick it up). You'll understand this when the pup is at your home and it is cold outdoors and your boots and coat are at the other door. (And you will not have all the other dogs to take care of) Summer litters are easier for me, as I stay out with them, when they are outdoors. Anyway - you should not look at this post, if you cannot stand looking at waste products... lol

They love to run around outdoors right after they have "gone"...

Of course, they also sniff and explore...

And leave me more "puppy cookies"

Oh yes... and play right where they go... ha ha

They are getting pretty curious about that doggie ramp now... won't be long till they are tearing down it, I'm sure, then the real fun will start, as they will have access to the whole yard!
* Edited to add - don't worry... you will not have four puppies at once - YOUR yard will not likely look this bad!*
