The father of these pups is "Kipper", AKA Lasacas Pipes of Pan, a beautiful gold and white particolor with a loving, cuddly personality. It shows in his pups! He is owned by a fellow breeder and good friend of mine - Janet Lacasse.
Janet's late husband, Richard, was a great help to us all at the dog shows... and just look at Kipper's tail in this picture! He has the most gorgeous thick coat of hair!
He is a lovely, friendly dog, who loves to romp and play. Show dogs must stay in full coat like this, but most pet owners trim their dogs down, to some degree, as a full coat does take a LOT of grooming. This is one of the reasons that I start getting the puppies accustomed to being groomed right from the start - makes your job much easier, if they already know about scissors and combs.
