Temperment Testing Starts...

Essentially, I test the puppies all along, by adding new and different "toys" to investigate and watching who approaches first, shaking out the pottie pads near them, to watch their reaction, and how fast they recover. Within a week, I will have a good idea what each puppy's personality will be like...

The latest test was a cat crinkle bag - oh what fun they had!

They played with this for ages... the noises are really intriguing... (BTW - that is why you will see various empty bags - like the one from marrow bones in there with them too - quieter version of the same thing)

Some of them got crowded out, but came back later to get their turn...

I keep the pups well stimulated during their active play times (when all the pups are awake)
Not fond of these early am plays (it's 1:50 am now) Look forward to a few weeks from now, when they outgrow this...

Since they are busy cutting teeth, they need lots of things to chew on... Not sure why, but they sure love to chew the "step" between the play area and the toilet area in the night den... (on the whelping box) That is why it is not painted this year - they just chew the paint off! lol

Okay - one post at this feeding... heading back to bed... Night folks!
