A dear friend came to Ottawa, to visit his daughter and grandchildren for his birthday and they came over to share his cake and the special day with me...
Of course - the puppies probably had nooo appeal to them, right?? lol
Some breeders will not allow anyone to touch the puppies until they leave their home and they leave all the socializing up to the owners, however, I feel that the sooner they are exposed to children, noise and people in general, the better adjusted they turn out. Each practise has its strengths and hazards. There is no "right" or "wrong" way really... in MY opinion.
