Bailey is going to be my training aid here for a minute... I want you to look at his legs... Can you see how his hair used to be black and is now growing in much lighter... That is the coloring "fun" of Lhasas... Some are born one color and stay that color, others turn lighter... Laila looks like she will stay red and white... Bailey will be much lighter and he was really dark when he was born...
Bailey's legs almost look like a tiger right now...(striped, I mean) You can see some of that on Micah as well... The hair around Bailey's eyes is turning lighter as well. As I trim the fur, the black is being cut off.
Bella is the same way - She looks very dark right now, because her top coat is long and covers the creamy colored fur beneath it.
